From walking in to leaving, the staff were amazing. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Pool area nice, lovely Infinity pool overlooking over the sea. Nice sized pool. Beach area nice. Bar Staff very attentive. Rooms very clean. Large bathroom. Shower good.

Amazing couples stay with amazing beach , breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options

Amazing location with fantastic beach and rooms were very good and clean

Nothing it was all good , bit of a walk up to the main road area but nothing too bad only about 10 mins and they do provide a little shuttle bus three times a day

Nice resort which used to be very nice resort, but time takes its price. Stuff friendly and nice. Rooms are still in good condition and are spacious and nice. Beach is nice. Pool is nice and clean, facing ocean. Very green resort with many plants and trees. Location on the island is perfect, restaurants, bakery, vegetables shops, all walking distance to the main road.

The price of this resort suggests that breakfast and service should be kept at a better level.

The perfect place for a family getaway.

I loved the garden and close proximity to the beach. The kids enjoyed kayaking and sipping virgin pina coladas by the pool. Many beach restaurants close by. And a lovely morning walks to the shops on the main road for coffee.

Breakfast and the restaurant needs more vegetarian options.

Lovely holiday, beachfront beautiful, room disappointing

Breakfast good, complex generally good. Location excellent. Bed comfortable, towels & linen clean. Staff friendly. Many great options within walking distance for lunch and dinner both on the beach and in the town.

Room disappointing, needs refurbishing, more storage space needed. Bathroom old needs replacing. Balcony old, tired & grubby, uncomfortable chairs and no view. Food and drink very expensive, would benefit by being more competitive as it is on the best part of the beach.

Paradice, just wish the spa would reopen!

beautiful resort on a stunning cove of beach. amazing sunsets each night with the view of the islands in the distance. the resort is nestled in a lovely cove and every direction you look is just paradice. loved my room, such a comfortable bed and pillows. I seemed to have the best room amongst my friends, we all stayed in deluxe villas but I had a detached villa with a smart TV and larger room, and they had semi detached villas with smaller room and less windows and no smart TV.

the resort spa closed in 2020 and is still waiting to be reopened. wish they would turn this into a gym and have yoga classes or more activities.

Beautiful hotel and fabulous staff, but needs some improvement, we would like stay again

Great location with beautiful gardens and Thai style bungalows. The staff are all super friendly and very helpful and kind to our 12 year daughter and made sure she was always happy. We had a great time with the kayak that is available to go with in the sea, which our daughter loved. The pool area overlooking the sea is really nice place to relax. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. The restaurant food is good both Thai and western. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and 7/11

The breakfast room can get very hot and needs some ceiling fans to circulate air. The restaurant area is outside, but often had a bad smell and the floor had broken planks, so we stopped eating there. My wife had an unfortunate accident which I will explain. The driveway to the hotel entrance opposite the security guards hut kept getting flooded and smells of drainage after heavy rains. This is the only exit from the hotel to the shops and there is no pedestrian walkway. My wife slipped and fell badly walking back to the hotel one night in this flooded area as it had black slimy coating on the concrete. She grazed both her knees and one elbow badly on the concrete in this smelly water. She was soaking wet crying in pain and her handbag and food shopping all landed in the water. We helped her to the reception area with another guest and surprisingly the hotel had no medical facilities to deal with this. The receptionist sent a member of staff to get first aid bandages sterile water and antiseptic cream, from a pharmacy and gave them to us, which we paid for and we cleaned and dealt with the injuries ourselves. The fall was bad and could have been much worse. The next day the hotel power cleaned the flooded area and dug a drainage ditch. This was a big improvement and it didn’t flood again even after heavy rain. This should have been done long before though. We were however disappointed that the manager never came to ask how my wife was, but the other staff were very nice and concerned. This definitely made a difference to our stay and we had to cancel some activities that we had planned for a few days.

Great hotel for families traveling with kids

Great location on the beach. We had a beach villa and a pool villa. Big rooms that easily can fit 4 people. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant on the beach was just amazing. Great staff, and even if it was a bit more expensive than restaurant on the main Street, we still ate there some days. It was because of the people who worked in the restaurant, we decided to book at the hotel. We stayed a night at the Centara next door, but Barali was just so much better, and I will stay here if I come back to Koh Chang

Its ok.

It's located on a nice beach, the staff are friendly and housekeeping is very good people. The staff are what makes this resort because the place requires a renovation as a lot is falling apart.

When we checked in, there were issues with the room that we had asked for. We checked into a deluxe room and stayed for 6 nights in that room, really decent room. We upgraded to a junior suite, big mistake, ants in room and smelled of sewage daily. We were charged 4000 baht for the upgrade, which was actually a complete downgrade. The beds are very hard. However, the staff provided a matress topper to soften it up a bit. In my opinion, this resort is at most $80-$120 Canadian a night resort, not 200-300.

Wonderful

Friendly staff, good location, good value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms, good aircon, tasty food in the restaurant, nice pool bar and a beautiful garden.

Not enough umbrellas at the pool, difficult to stay in shade. Very limited breakfast choices for vegetarians. The road to the resort is not properly lit so it's not pleasant to walk at night.

A soothing location

The natural interior, the pool, the sea, the breakfast are really wonderful

It can be felt that the construction part is slowly gaining time. And years ago, the resort had a wonderful spa. The room was now empty.

Breakfast was not exciting at all, boring and nothing to talk about…with the exception of fruits, they’re fresh and sweet!

The bathroom amenities were limited, no toothpaste or tooth brush provided, which were expected in all hotels, even the budget hotels would provide.. The electricity sockets were not working, not only in my room but my friends also. After complaining and checked by in-house engineer, still not fixed the next day as he promised… Staff, especially the front desk were not helpful at all. In general, it’s a disappointing stay.

Absolutely amazing!

We booked 2 rooms for my Mum's birthday and we absolutely loved it! The beach front villa is stunning, super comfortable, and literally right on the beach with your own little terrace and sun loungers. We also had a room further back that was huge and super comfortable. The beds are amazing! The pool is beautiful, also right on the beach and it has a swim-up bar with little seats! I always expect the food at resort restaurants to be average but it was absolutely outstanding! The best thing about this place though was the staff. Everyone was SO friendly, helpful, and kind - they really made the trip extra special. My mums room was decorated when we arrived and they made a special table up for us for her birthday dinner and brought us a cake, it was so sweet!

Good

Good location on the beach front, very calm and quiet good for families. Decent breakfast options. Plenty of restaurants in the nearby village (15 min by foot). Very friendly and communicative staff, option to rent scooters in the reception for a very competitive prices.

Whole resort is past its prime time, some wear and tear is visible. Room cleaning was very basic and sometimes very late (around 4pm). Water heater was too small and due to that it was impossible to take a bath. Very quiet place no attractions in or around the hotel.
